just before MY TWENTIETH BIRTHDAY, My parents placed a camera in my hands and I've barely set it down since.
That was fourteen years ago and a lot of life has passed in front of the lens in that time. Leading me from my ards peninsula farming homeplace, to far off pockets of the world and eventually making a home amongst the south down drumlins with my rugged, outdoors-loving man, which we now share with a one-eyed cat, a happy terrier and two deliciously spirited little blonde boys.
Kitchen discos, vegetable gardening, bringing people together, beach walking and creating last-minute costumes out of nothing are amongst my great loves. But the one great love that shines brightest of all, is still that feel of a camera in my hands and the tingle deep inside when there's magic to be captured.
